Vacuum Forming Plastics & Thermoforming Production
Vacuum forming is a thermoforming process widely used in industrial plastic part production. As a vertically integrated thermoforming manufacturer, Beta Vakum’s production facility in Ankara covers the entire process in-house — from ABS sheet production through thermoforming mold manufacturing, vacuum forming, and 5-axis CNC trimming.
By using ABS sheets we produce ourselves, material quality, thickness tolerances, and surface properties are kept under full control at every stage of production. This integrated structure enables us to deliver project-specific and repeatable thermoformed plastic parts — positioning Beta Vakum as a vacuum forming company that manages the entire process from raw material to finished part, all under one roof.
Our Plastic Thermoforming Capabilities
At Beta Vakum, plastic thermoforming production is carried out through an integrated process, from plastic sheet production to final part trimming. The appropriate sheet thickness and mold structure are determined based on the project dimensions, application area, surface requirements, and production volume.
• Sheet production: Carried out in-house at Beta Vakum.
• Mold design and manufacturing: Carried out in-house at Beta Vakum.
• Forming methods: Plastic thermoforming and vacuum forming.
• Trimming operations: 5-axis CNC cutting, 3-axis CNC cutting, and various trimming tools.
• Design support: Project development and reverse engineering.
• Maximum dimensions: Our largest machine has a sheet area of 1,350 × 2,550 mm. We also operate seven additional machines with different forming dimensions.
• Applicable sheet thickness: 1.5–6 mm.
• Production volume: Varies depending on the product and project requirements.
What We Do as a Thermoforming Manufacturer
At Beta Vakum, vacuum forming plastics is not limited to forming alone. Project-specific part design, custom thermoforming mold production, material selection, vacuum forming, and 5-axis CNC trimming are all performed in-house as part of an integrated workflow.
This allows us to offer our customers project-specific, repeatable, and serial-production-ready vacuum forming plastics solutions. As a plastic parts manufacturer serving diverse industries, we offer the flexibility to meet technical requirements across automotive, defense, medical, and industrial sectors.
Integrated Solution — From ABS Thermoforming to Finished Parts
Beta Vakum manufactures the ABS sheets used in thermoforming on its own production line. In-house ABS sheet production allows full control over raw material quality throughout the ABS thermoforming process.
Our in-house ABS sheets are available in various thickness, color, and surface options — fully prepared for vacuum forming plastics and thermoforming applications. This integrated structure ensures quality and continuity in project-specific production runs.
Custom Thermoforming Mold Production & Engineering
One of the most critical factors determining part quality and dimensional accuracy in plastic vacuum forming is mold design. At Beta Vakum, custom thermoforming mold production is carried out in-house together with the design and engineering phase.
If required, we can engineer plastic parts from scratch for products with no existing design, or reverse-engineer existing physical parts to prepare them for serial production.
Molds are manufactured specifically according to the intended use and technical requirements of each part. In-house mold production enables rapid revisions and ensures uninterrupted continuity throughout the production process.
Vacuum Forming Plastics Application Areas
Medical Sector

Vacuum forming is used in the production of hospital bed components, medical device housings, and auxiliary equipment. In thermoform plastic applications for the medical sector, dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and repeatable production are prioritized.
Medical thermoformed plastic parts are produced using ABS sheets in project-specific thickness and surface options, then made assembly-ready through 5-axis CNC trimming.
Automotive & Plastic Auto Parts

Plastic trim panels and protective components for the automotive sector are produced using thermoforming plastics. As a plastic parts manufacturer for the automotive industry, we offer lightweight construction, strength, and dimensional consistency in every production run.
For plastic auto parts and trim applications, project-appropriate thickness and surface properties are determined and serial-production-ready thermoformed plastic parts are delivered.
Boiler & Tank Covers

In the production of boiler and tank covers, vacuum forming plastics offers clear advantages over metal alternatives — including lightweight construction, corrosion resistance, and design flexibility. We manufacture custom thermoforming solutions for boiler, combi, and industrial tank systems.
Defense Industry Applications

Thermoformed plastic parts for defense industry applications demand high strength, dimensional accuracy, and strict quality standards. Beta Vakum, as an experienced vacuum forming company, produces project-specific thermoformed plastic parts for defense applications.
Using plastic vacuum forming, the following components can be manufactured: UAV/drone enclosures, ammunition storage covers, military vehicle plastic components, radar housings, and similar protective enclosure applications.
Parts are shaped through ABS thermoforming using our in-house ABS sheets and finished to final dimensions with 5-axis CNC trimming. Defense industry production is carried out according to repeatable quality and controlled tolerance principles.
Furniture & Industrial Applications
Machine covers, enclosures, and decorative thermoformed plastic parts are produced cost-effectively using vacuum forming. In industrial applications, thermoforming plastics is the preferred method for plastic part production requiring strength and dimensional consistency.
